Meet Our Founder

Elisha Carter is the founder of The Scholar Studio and a graduate of the University of Cambridge, where she earned a high BA (Hons) in Education. There, she specialised in systemic mobility and equity, the psychology of implicit and explicit learning, student self-efficacy and adjacent policy adaptation.

She founded The Scholar Studio to combine expert admissions insight with deeply personalised mentorship. For over six years, Elisha has supported students across the UK and internationally, and spent two years working directly with the Admissions team at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge — speaking to prospective students and asking the selectors exactly what they’re looking for.
